- Dr.Geetha graduated MBBS in the year 1981 from Coimbatore Medical College.
- She specialized in MS General Surgery from Coimbatore Medical College from 1982-1984.
- She then went on to do her rural service for one and a half years after which she joined Mch Plastic Surgery in Stanley Medical College from 1986-1988 under world renowned plastic, reconstructive and microvascular surgeon Prof.Dr.R.Venkataswami.
- From then on she started her service in the TamilNadu Government sector from 1984-2002 in the department of plastic surgery.
- Later she went abroad and worked in King Khalid Hospital, Najran, Saudi Arabia in the Ministry of Health from 2002 to 2017.
